Gulf Coast Soccer invites players and teams to join the Frontier 5v5 League, hosted at the Gulf Coast Soccer Complex in Port Arthur, Texas. This fast‑paced format gives players extra matches, more ball contact, and expanded developmental opportunities without the burden of travel.

League play runs Sunday, September 20 through Sunday, November 21.

Why 5v5?

5v5 is one of the best ways for young players to grow. Smaller‑sided games mean:

  • More decisions

  • More creativity

  • More goals

  • More fun

It’s the perfect complement to regular team training and league play — a chance to sharpen skills in a competitive but supportive environment.

Local. Convenient. No Travel.

All matches are played right here at Gulf Coast Soccer Complex, making this league an easy, local option for families. No long drives. No out‑of‑town commitments. Just great soccer close to home.

League Format

  • Team entry fee: $475, register as team in tournament roster format, guest players allowed. 

  • Maximum roster of 10 players, minimum 5 players.

  • Boys and Girls divisions

  • U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12 divisions offered where possible

  • Awards for the 1st‑place team

  • Age eligibility: U7–U12 (based on August 1 age cutoff)

Match Schedule

Sunday afternoons, 3–5 PM (typical)

Team Entry Fee: $475 per team

  • U7-U8 (5v5)
  • U9-U10 (5v5)
  • U11-U12 (5v5)
  • 10 Game Guarantee (including playoffs)
  • Registration closes September 15th
  • Schedules posted September 17th
  • Opening Day: September 20, last game Nov 15th

Coaches or team managers form their own team and complete registration through GotSport.Team can wear their club or league uniform. 

Any player registered with a USSF‑sanctioned governing body (USYS, US Club Soccer, SAY, AYSO, etc.) is eligible to participate — just like a tournament roster.

Once your team is created, simply register the roster in GotSport and get ready for a great season of extra games and development.
