Port Arthur, TX – November 25, 2024 – Gulf Coast Youth Soccer Club (GCYSC) is excited to announce the appointment of Jamahel "Yama" Alfaro as our new Director of Academy. With an extensive background in player development, coaching education, and academy methodology, Yama’s leadership will take our Academy Program to new heights, ensuring it becomes the premier destination for soccer development in Texas.

Yama brings a wealth of experience in player and coach development, having previously led successful academy initiatives focused on holistic player growth and elite-level training. His qualifications include top-tier coaching licenses, advanced methodologies in youth development, and years of experience working with aspiring athletes to help them reach their full potential.

As Director of Academy, Yama will:
