Gulf Coast Youth Soccer Club relies solely on registration fees, sponsorships, fundraisers, and donations to provide a safe, fun, and educational soccer opportunity for all kids regardless of economic circumstances. We only charge a minimum registration fee to cover the true cost of running each program we offer. All field or facility improvements, upgrades or projects we do to improve the club are funded by our membership fundraisers, community donations, and club sponsorships.
Gulf Coast Soccer will be holding a Raffle Ticket Fundraiser this spring to raise money to install New Sports Lighting on (4) small-sided fields. As you know we really need these lights, particularly in early spring and late fall for younger ages, and we look forward to installing them as soon as possible. Thanks to a grant we received, we will also being doing storm damage lighting repairs and adding fixtures to Field 1, 2, 3 and the Micro Fields this summer. We hope that everyone will join us by supporting this capital campaign fundraiser to bring initiative to fruition.
The spring season raffle will be for several great prizes including a 65" Samsung TV, X-Box, 80 Gallon Crawfish Boil Pot & Burner, a computer, fishing and camping gear, GCYSC spirit gear, and several other small prizes, a minimum of 10 prizes will be given out. Players will be asked to sell one set of 5 tickets for $5 a ticket. The team that sells the most tickets will be awarded a team part at Jumping World.
Players parents will pick up and pay for their book of tickets on the dates below. Parents are allowed to purchase additional sets of 5 if they want to sell more and these tickets will be added to your totals toward contest prizes. Parents will be required to purchase all tickets in advance and return the stubs NO LATER THAN Saturday, May 8th at 1 pm. The drawing will be held that afternoon, Saturday May 8th, at 2 pm. The Spirit Store and Concession Stand will also have tickets available for walk up purchase on game days. We will draw tickets live on Facebook and post winners to the website.
Ticket pick-ups will take place in the Spirit Store starting Tuesday, April 12th from 5:30 - 7 PM, continuing M - Th through April 22nd. Additional pick-up times may be added so be sure to follow our Facebook page or email me to make arrangements for more tickets or to turn in your form and money.
