Game Day Protocols

Saturday will be our first weekend with a full slate of games this year with all in-house Leagues and the Spindletop YSA League operating. The kids have waited a long, long time for soccer to start. A lot of work and sacrifice has been done by many to get us to this point. Lets all work together to keep it fun and safe so that play can continue. Have a great day of soccer!

Important Safety Reminders

  • COVID-19 Reminders - COVID-19 is still a threat. Let us keep our guard up so we can keep playing!
    • All spectators MUST practice social distancing (6’) OR wear a mask when on the GC Soccer Complex. Your choice, but you must do one or the other!
    • Coaches MUST wear a mask when social distancing (6’) is not possible.
    • Red lines with 6’ spacing have been marked on fields to guide spectators on where to sit. Question, please ask.
    • 3v3 Micro & 4v4 Jr. Rec Social Distance Restrictions – To ease congestion, we have opened the area behind the goals for spectators to sit on these fields. We need to do better with the small fields. If spectators are unable to maintain social distance, we will have to place a guest limit on each family next week. We appreciate your support!
  • Traffic Safety
    • REMINDER: Game day traffic is ONE-WAY, enter on Hogeboom, and exit on Twin City Hwy ONLY.
    • Do not block traffic dropping off or waiting for players.
  • Inclement Weather Policy
  • Game Day Etiquette – Please be courteous and respectful to all players, coaches, opponents, and referees. It is the Gulf Coast Way!

Best of luck to all our teams this weekend!
