At Gulf Coast Soccer our mission is to provide the best possible training and education experience for our players and coaches while at the same time keeping fees affordable for all players of all ages and ability levels. We rely upon both professional staff and parent volunteers to implement nationally recognized best practices in all areas of our operations and programming. Below is an overview of the staff that make Gulf Coast Soccer viable.

Professional Coaching Staff

We believe in investing in areas that improve our players, coaches and facilities and relying on our volunteer parents and members to supplement these professional services. Running a top tier club is more than a brand. It starts with an experienced technical director who understands the game from the youth level to the highest levels of play. One who understands youth development and player development pathways from 4-18 years old and coaching development. One who is an experienced coaching educator. With the hiring of Robert Parr we have a director with experience coaching youth players, Olympic Development (ODP) players, as well as collegiate and professional players. Coach Parr is responsible for developing all of our programs from recreational to select and from all ages from U5-U19 to assure that the curriculum for each one are linked to the next one on pathway. He also provides coaching education for all of our volunteer and professional coaches. Volunteer Staff

Our club could not survive without all of the hard working volunteers who serve as coaches, team managers, assist with field maintenance and up-keep, fundraising, sponsorships, serve on the board or on one of our many committees. However with a growing club that is striving for continuous improvement in the programs we offer and the over all player experience it seems we never have enough help. There are many great ideas and projects on the drawing board with quick payback that we could implement if we had enough help. We need your help! Regardless of the time and experience you have we can find a project or action item to fit your schedule, ability and interest level. Professional Referee Staff

Lastly, we certainly could not exist without our referee staff. Without referees there can be no games for the kids to play in. We offer a great referee training and mentoring program that allows absolute beginners and experienced referees to enter the program and referee as many games as they wish. Once in the program they can progress through our in-house year round Referee Development Program or our affiliation with South Texas Soccer Referees (STSR) and work up to higher level games and pay rates including high school or collegiate soccer if they wish.
